Walking and cycling travels

The main objective of the slow movement is the tracking and dissemination of a network of walks and cycling.
The survey is conducted by itineAria engineers and also by volunteers and friends who decide to make available the GPS tracks collected during their travels.

These are the main routes available on our site:

  • Via Francigena: the backbone of the network longer than 2000 km, traced the itinerary for the Ministry of Heritage and Culture in the Italian section, and Cristina Menghini tract abroad.
  • Ge-Mi-To: Genoa-Turin-Milan walking along a path of extraordinary beauty along 710 km, planned and bought by Richard Carnovalini and technical routes.
  • Cammino degli Angeli (Angels Path): 200 km from Rome to Assisi, along a path traced by Mark factions.

These mains itineraries are connected with few walking and cycling excursions of one day or more. Build up your travel and discover Italy!!!
